5209078684 Switch to unversioned autoconf. 
Remove unversioned autoconf symlink from all but the latest autoconf.

This makes it clearer which autoconf is used.

9b5c6ca3a1 Do not install pre-generated manpages. 
Also remove redundant autotools stages.

Early manpages in autoconf 2.52-2.59 are removed from output.
Later ones are regenerated with help2man.
