d82c906378 Vulkan: Finish semantics for what creates spec-const-semantics.
Note: This required adding a new test mode to see the AST for vulkan tests.
This also required reworking some deeper parts of type creation, regarding
when storage qualification and constness is deduced bottom-up or dictated
top-down.

8d72f1a2c4 Full stack: distinguish between a scalar and a vector of size 1.
There have been GLSL extensions considering this, and HLSL does it.
This is a fully backward compatible change that allows this distinction.

8ff43de891 Implement the extension GL_ARB_gpu_shader_int64
- Add new keyword int64_t/uint64_t/i64vec/u64vec.
- Support 64-bit integer literals (dec/hex/oct).
- Support built-in operators for 64-bit integer type.
- Add implicit and explicit type conversion for 64-bit integer type.
- Add new built-in functions defined in this extension.

0840838d17 Support specialization composite constants
Fix issue #163, support creation and reference of composite type
specialization constants.

e.g.:

Rname two function names to match their functionalities.
1) Rename `GlslangToSpvTraverser::createSpvSpecConstant()` to
`createSpvConstant()`;
2) Rename `GlslangToSpvTraverser::createSpvConstant()` to
`createSpvConstantFromConstUnionArray()`

Add function `GlslangToSpvTraverser::createSpvConstantFromSubTree()` to
handle constant creation from sub trees (e.g.: specialization constants).

7cc0e2896e Front-end infrastructure: Encapsulate semantic-level questions/actions about const/temp.
Much about const or temp is mechanical, about actual declaration,
while much is semantic, about something higher level.  This commit
checks every use everywhere, and for the high-level ones, substitutes
an encapsulated version instead.

61d9fb9048 Semantics: 'invocations' defaults to 1, not 0.
'invocations' was using 0 as the "shader never set" flag and as the
default. Formalize this and explicit set to 1 and link time.

494a02a2b0 Semantics: Geometry stage can support max_vertices = 0.
To do this, more generally use a named -1 as a not set value.

989df85dcd Array-sizing bug fix: multiple array initializers of different size in the same declaration.
Handles the case of
    float[] x = float[] (1.0, 2.0, 3.0),
            y = float[] (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0);
where a shallow copy of the type arrayness from the left-most float[]
was getting used twice.

e770b3e6cf SPV return from main: Simplify a legacy design such returns are not jumps to exit block.
Structured control-flow rules allow leaving the middle of a construct through
a return, but not through a jump to a block that does a return.

Addresses issue #58.

65c78a0b62 Array of array: Implement the core functionality: types, constructors, operations.
There will be subsequent commits to refine semantics, esp. version-specific semantics,
as well as I/O functionality and restrictions.

Note: I'm getting white-space differences in the preprocessor test results,
which I'm not checking in.  I think they need to be tagged as binary or something.

b35483587f Array of Array prep: Turn a batch of 0's into nullptr or UnsizedArraySize.
Added some const as well. This will remove camouflage of the next commit,
which will add the bulk of Array of Array semantics and functionality.
(Note the basic grammar and data structure is already in place.)

150b7acd9a Restore r26192, r26240, r26241: All three about implicit-array sizing design and implementation. *Minus* test results.
r26192: Link-time sizing of implicitly-sized arrays and handling of anonymous blocks containing implicitly-sized members.  Also changed "__anon" to "anon@" and encapsulated it.

r26240: Solidify the sharing of struct and array information between nodes and variables: A single copy now allows for simultaneously setting array size for all effected nodes and symbols of a given type. This allowed removal of ioArrayNodeResizeList and makes nodes of implicitly sized arrays know the final size.

r26241: Fix g++ issue with wanting non-const iterator.

f2d042a1fe Non-functional, infrastructure: Be more explicit about "implicit array sizes", improving the infrastructure for handling them. Also fix some output that was too big for its buffer.
There is more upcoming functionality for link-time sizing of implicitly-sized arrays that will use this.

75694fdacd Implement implicit conversions of function-call arguments (both in and out) as explicit conversions in the AST, through handleArgumentConversions().
Also
 - uniformly handle EvqConstReadOnly as an input argument in a function, with 
   isParamInput() and isParamOutput() queries in TQualifier.
 - provide a makeTemporary() in TQualifier, for erasing original qualification when making a temp
 - provide a makeInternalVariable() call to make a shader variable not seen in the shader source

51cdd90fa8 Fix the few non-portable uses of "char" (where a -1 might be relevant): All uses of char are now either "int", "unsigned char" or char arrays for storing strings. Also, went to consistent "char* foo" coding convention. (There were only a few ambiguous uses.)

ac1e188f3b GL_ARB_enhanced_layouts, part 6: Numerical side of uniform offset and align semantics. Included
- moving offset calculations for std140/std430 from reflection to linkValidate.cpp
 - applying the offset/align rules on top of std140/std430
 - removing caching the structure's number of components (and correcting that this is components, not size)
